KiKi LaCroix, “Ms. KiKi”

Lower School Math Tutor & Enrichment Specialist

Ms. KiKi is a gifted educator whose teaching blends heart, artistry, and academic precision. Now in her eighth year at the San Francisco Waldorf School, she brings deep training in child development and a holistic lens to her work—but her approach at Girlmath is far from one-size-fits-all. Whether she’s using strategic games to build problem-solving skills, reinforcing school curriculum, or guiding students through challenging material with kindness and clarity, KiKi is deeply attuned to what each learner needs to thrive.

Before becoming a classroom teacher, KiKi built a remarkably diverse career: she worked in wealth management at JP Morgan, managed restaurant openings for the Hillstone Restaurant Group, and spent nearly a decade teaching children’s ski school in Aspen, where she first discovered the joy of guiding young learners through movement, play, and persistence.

KiKi holds a B.A. in Studio Art from UC Santa Barbara and a Waldorf Teaching Credential. At Girlmath, she brings all of her experience together—her creative instincts, developmental insight, and ability to make every student feel capable and seen. Beloved by her students and trusted by parents, KiKi turns math into an experience that feels joyful, confidence-building, and deeply human.
