Bee Chambers, “Ms. Chambers”

Middle & High School Math Tutor

Bee Chambers is a thoughtful math educator with a strong command of middle and high school mathematics and a deep commitment to student-centered learning. She brings a steady, patient approach to her work and is especially skilled at helping students strengthen their understanding of core ideas and make meaningful connections across topics.

After earning her BA in Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, Bee began her teaching career in Oakland, where she became known for her clarity, warmth, and high expectations. She enjoys working with students who benefit from slowing down, revisiting foundational concepts, and building confidence through careful, intentional practice.

Bee currently teaches at San Francisco Waldorf High School, where she continues to explore holistic, developmentally aligned approaches to math education that honor both the intellect and the individual learner. Her teaching emphasizes curiosity, flexibility in thinking, and precision—supporting students as they move beyond memorization toward deeper understanding.

Originally from New Hampshire, Bee brings a grounded, calm presence to her work. At Girlmath, she tutors middle and high school students across a range of math courses, helping them build strong foundations, confidence, and lasting problem-solving skills.
