High School Math Lab - 3 Week Trial Session

$525.00

Too many girls count out important prerequisite math classes in high school—without realizing that college-level math is nothing like the procedural, step-by-step experience they’ve had so far. We’ve designed this class for them.

This high-level enrichment class invites 9th and 10th grade students to tackle creative, non-routine problems that reveal the why behind the how. Through deep exploration and discussion, students uncover patterns, build connections to what they’re learning in school, and strengthen the kind of reasoning that drives success in advanced math.

This is where students who are “bored but brilliant” rediscover their spark—and where those who have struggled with procedural math finally get to shine.

Under Ms. Ehlen’s expert guidance, students will:

  • See patterns others miss and learn to solve problems creatively

  • Gain confidence and deepen their mathematical intuition

  • Prepare for the kind of thinking demanded in college-level math

Please note that participation is by teacher recommendation only—reach out to learn more!
